Associate Partner, Asset Management

As part of Aon's Talent Analytics - Human Capital practice, you will help empower results for financial services clients by delivering financial services compensation surveys and consulting. McLagan's platform is the backbone to our industry-specific performance and advisory work. This position offers an opportunity to work with our world class team in Stamford as a Associate Partner.

What the day will look like:

We currently have an immediate need for an experienced consultant to join our Financial Services Data Solutions Team as an Associate Partner. The Associate Partner will work across the firm's performance-reward products to drive incremental sales, broaden relationships and to innovate new products and solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead team efforts in developing solutions to difficult or complex client situations to ensure goals and objectives are met, including delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Lead analyst team by example to interpret data and deliver in-depth insights, conclusions and recommendations to clients.
  • Provide quality control for work done by analyst team.
  • Develop new products of services that meet our client's evolving needs
  • Develop and lead client proposals.
  • Management of day-to-day client relationships, developing new and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Work across the data solutions team and gain perspective on key issues in financial services sectors.
  • Ability to travel for short durations.
Skills and Experience that will Lead to Success:
  • 10 or more years of external management consulting experience in the financial industry.
  • Financial markets experience.
  • Highly numerate and analytical while having excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills including strong verbal and written communication.
  • A knowledge of compensation is a strong plus.
  • Experience leading projects and engagements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to present effectively to senior management.
  • Well-organized and delivery-driven with good completion skills. Ability to work under pressure.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $210,000 to $230,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Stamford, CT. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
